Neerja - From Modelling to Bravery

Died: September 5, 1986, Karachi, Pakistan

Happened to see this breath taking movie, Based on true story of Neerja bhanot. Who scarified her life in the Panam Airways hijack incident happened in Karachi. I came to know only after seeing this movie that such incident took place and Neerja Bhanot sacrified her life and saved about 300 passengers in the board. 

Sonam kapoor has played an classic role portraying Neerja Bhanot. We could feel of what  the passengers and Neerja would have faced frightening moment from the movie. The movie was so natural and cant feel dramatist any where, Ram Madhvani has directed each scene in a very detail manner that audience should not  lose the grip from the movie.
Shabana Azmi as mother as portrayed so perfectly and understanding Neerja needs and in climax she stand unique. Jim Sarbh has done a terrific role. As a terrorist in the movie he has shown the maximum expressions and agony on passengers. Abrar Zahoor one of the main terrorist who design the kidnap planning and communication with Neerja and She convincing the terrorist is a good plot for the movie.

All passengers in the board has shown there efforts and well going with the story. Each has shown there part well.
All the credit will go to Neerja family and I hope this movie should get a prestigious award from Indian govt and should go for Oscars.

தமிழுக்கு என்  ஒன்றை  அழுத்தவும் .இந்த படத்தின் தலைப்பே அழகாக தமிலிழ் உருவானது.

ஒரு மனிதனுக்குள் ஒரு விஞ்ஞானி பிறக்கிறான். இந்த படத்தை நான் பார்க்கும் போது  இப்படி ஒரு கதை தந்த இந்த படத்தின் டைரக்டர் ராம்ப்ரகாஷ் ராயப்பாவின் அடுத்த படம் காண ஆவலை  தூண்டுகிறது   . காந்த புயலால் அணைத்து கைபேசி வேலை செய்வதில்லை என்றால்  என்ன வாகும் என்று இந்த படத்தின் கதாநாயகனுக்கு வானொலி மூலம் ஓர் செய்தி வாசிக்கபடுகிறது. இதை அந்த கதாநாயகன் எப்படி கையாளுகிறான் என்பதே இந்த கதை.

இது ஒரு முக்கோண கதை. கைபேசியை மையமாக  வைத்து கதை நகர்கிறது. ஒரு தீவிரவாதி சென்னை  நகரத்தை தகர்க்க ஒரு கைபேசி மூலம் இயங்க செய்யும் ஒரு வெடிகுண்டு தயார் செய்து ஒரு கால் டாக்ஸியில் வைத்து விடுகிறான் ஆனால் அது காந்த புயலால் கைபேசி வேலை செய்வதில்லை. 

ஒரு வங்கியில் வேலை பார்க்கும் பெண்  ஒரு கட்டிட  மனையில் வேலை பார்க்கும் ஒரு இளைஞனை  அங்கு  தேடிவற எதார்த்தமாக ஒரு குழியில் விழுந்து வெலியேவர முடியாமல்  சிக்கி கொள்கிறாள். அவனை தொடர்பு செய்ய கைபேசி வேலை செய்வதில்லை. இதில் இருந்து அவள் எப்படி மீள்கிறாள் என்பது கதையின் இன்னோரு கோனம்.

நகுல், அட்டைக்கத்தி தினேஷ் ,பிந்துமாதவி யதார்த்தமாக  தங்களது நடிப்பை தந்துள்ளனர். ஊர்வசி நகுளின் அம்மாவாகவும் தனுக்கும் சில 

இந்த படத்தின் டைரக்டர் ராம்ப்ரகாஷ் ராயப்பாவிற்கு எனது வாழ்த்துகள். யதார்த்தமான  கதை, அடுத்தது என்ன என்று சிந்திக்க வைக்கும்  திரைக்கதை.  நலிந்து வரும் சினிமாவை இது போன்ற கதைகள் தலைநிமிர்ந்து நடக்க வைக்கும்.

A grandfather touch in the movie. A grandfather who is so conserve and very orthadox. Changes or adjust his emotions by his grandson touch. The film say that one should not forget about the culture though he is born in a inter cast family.

The grandson teaches English and Reversal Grandfather(Balu Mahendra) teaches him Tamil its importance and our culture. Even the small the thing would tell a story in Balu Mahendra's movie being his last directorial touch the camera and Cinematography has been handled perfectly. 

Now a days in this modern world children are missing the grandparents touch, as most of them are tuned to city and abroad life. Each children of our generations should know the importance of our rituals and mother tongue. 


Really the bond between grandfather and grandson is touching our hearts. Such movies should be recognized and should be screened in our film festival. 

As Balu mahendra sir says what ever the trend changes a masterpiece works will speak through out his life.

We say Village but this film show what village can teach you and what you give them back will be returned to you with love and emotions.

KAADU -  Save Tress Save Forest.

I do no why such movies are not taken to Cannes Film Festival. The story revolve around forest and its importance. Vidarth who is a illiterate want to save his forest and give to his generations. This fire tends him more to abolish corrupt forest officers who just want to use the forest for illegal purposes. Thambi ramaya and Singampulli have done there roles perfectly when it come to Comedy. 

The Movie throw a sensible touch when Vidarth meet Samuthrakani in jail after he is being innocently arrested for his friend mistake who want to be a forest officer illegaly smuggling sandal wood trees to pay higher officials to get forest officer job.  Samuthrakani as a revolutionist and writer helps vidarth saying that each tree in forest is your Grandfather, Grandmother and you have rights to save them. Dont be calm if any one want to destroy your generations. 

Film ends with by killing Vidarth's Friend accidentally. The hero says that please give the forest to us who have been cultivating for generations. We don't wanna go or leave this forest and we want to give this forest to our coming generations. He also put a point that never disturb the Nature as it will disturb you. 

As usual heroine Samskruthy Shenoy has done a decent role in the movie.  There is no where a vulgarity is shown in the movie. As a heroine she has done her role patiently as a school going a girl and for need to meet her daily expenses she does the role of distributing newspaper to the near by neighbours.

Director Nehru Nagar Nandhu has taken a good concept and warned people that cutting trees is illegal .  Conserve forest and save them to keep our nation healthy. 

AAROHANAM - Film with vision and message

When I watch this film it made to see the stress involved even in the down trodden people. The film focuses on search of a missing mother by her son and daughter. The film reveals the stress and emotions played in a normal women life.

The core deals with Bipolar activities on the women. All the credits go to the Director Mrs,Lakshmi Ramakrishnan. Such movie should be shown in Indian Film Festival.... Such directors should get boosted and encouraged by the Industry.

I can see Balu Mahendra and Balachander style in the movie.... The song Thappatam song go good...credit go to K - Music Director who did a splendid performance in the Yutham Sei.Each one has done there role brilliant. There is no overacting and shouting in the movie.

Its a Low budget Film shot with in 20 days. The movie is not too dragging. Each shot has come well and the lead female of the movie has done a spectacular performance...

I think Mrs. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan with no technological Background with her first step has done a miracle performance. Its a stepping stone for her. She should invite more talents to bring good movies and create good message to the masses.

First Take Brilliant Performance and good message take Arohanam to the audience.

Though Decades have passed there are movies in Tamil which even today give a good  message. In that line Kalaignyar Parasakthi has seen different phases of human life. 

Starvation
Security to Women.
Safety

Even today we see such things in real life... the highlight of the movie is that the women is not secured even when she go to temple....

The bond between brothers and sister has given importance in the movie. There is a situation where SRS conduct a beggar meeting. He says you people are with your office and other dealings My interest is Sitting under baniyan tree. The elder brother why dont you bring them we will take care of them.

The Grand opening is Sivaji Ganesan Success has made a great turnover in his life.... He has shown his navratnas in the first movie itself... 

Each one has concentrated there role and given a excellent outcome. 

The songs was awsome and the lyrics where meaningful which bring spark in the mind....

Parasakthi though old movie its a gold crown for Tamil Movie.
